Currently working on...

So right now I am in the process of sticking 64 little Monkey Faces onto 64 little monkey heads. I love doing maticulous work. I am home sick from work today. I think I ate something bad. Not feeling so well on the upside it does give me the day to work on my invitation order.

Busy Busy Bee

Hello all...

So I haven't been on here to post on a while because I have been a bit busier than normal. I had a customer email me and decide she needed 20 more invitations so I had to rush those out to her. I didn't mind though because I love doing them. I did also just get a new order for my favorite invitation to make which is my jungle themed invitation! I am so excited she wants 64 so I will be a busy little bee this coming weekend too! I am so excited that I have started to get more and more interest in my invitations! :) Next I will hopefully find time to sit down and work only on my embelishments and I will add those to my etsy shop too!

Finished Product

I am indeed a little peeved...I worked ALLLLLLL day and night Wednesday. As I said I had a customer, who is a repeat customer, who seems to order EVERYTHING last minute. She ordered these 55 invitations which she wanted me to give her practically for free and orders them last Friday and wants them by Monday. Well, everything I make is made to order, obviously, and handmade, not to mention I had to order the supplies. So I told her I would do my best to have them by Tuesday but no promises. Well it was just NOT possible to get them done on Tuesday so I told her Wednesday and I probably would be working late in to the night and made sure if it would be ok to deliver them later at night. She said it was fine! So I proceed to finish the invitations and putting my husband to work. (Bless his heart) and finish them around 11. I tried to get in touch with her........she fell asleep! So....I worked tirelessly for nothing I would have had a whole extra day to work on them...but I am thankful they are done and I think they turned out beautifully and I had a very happy customer. A lesson learned.

Stress and Lack of sleep!

To say I am tired today would be an understatement. I have been a housewife for the past year and until recently been out of work and working on my invitations and home life full time. I just 2 weeks ago got hired at an adoption agency working as an adoption clerk. I absolutely love it! I am a bit overwhelmed with all of the sudden orders coming in all on top of each other and now starting a new job. Alas I am still living a very happy and fulfilling life. Enough Complaning...I will be spending the next few hours of my life making something beautiful of that pile of goods. Have I mentioned I LOVE paper!!! Everything about it...I love when I get a big order of paper on my doorstep! It is like Christmas to me!!

Beautiful Life

So  This is the first day of the rest of my life, huh?! Well I must say it has been a fairly uneventful one. I have one invitation order done and mailed out...this was an invitation I originally styled for my best friend's sister's baby shower. I thought it was just adorable and super simple. I will be selling DIY kits for it online next! Some people I think would be into it. I have some very exciting projects coming up in the not too distant future. I have another order for graduation announcements. This is from a repeat customer who has definitely developed a habit of waiting for the last minute to place her orders. She ordered her invites on Friday and wants them by tomorrow. Problem is the paper won't be here till tomorrow...if I'm lucky! lol Well I told her I couldn't promise anything. I am a little nervous/stressed about it...but I am sure it will all work out!
